The Monstera adansonii Tricolor (most notably the Japanese Tricolor or Aurea Tricolor cultivar) is an ultra-rare collector's aroid prized for its striking "Swiss cheese" fenestrations overlaid with three distinct colors. Unlike standard green varieties, a single leaf features a dynamic, chimeric blend of dark green, creamy white or minty-yellow, and light green/yellow tones. Because this variegation is chimeric, it is entirely unpredictable, meaning every new leaf emerges with a completely unique pattern.
