Hoya leytensis, commonly called the "Miniature Philippine Wax Plant," is a delicate, small-leafed climbing epiphyte. First published botanically in 1988, it is endemic to the lush, humid tropical rainforests of Leyte Island in the Philippines. In its natural habitat, it grows primarily as a canopy dweller on tree trunks and branches, anchoring itself with adventitious roots.
