The Cubaris Glacier isopod (scientifically classified as a color morph of Cubaris murina) is a highly sought-after, all-white "white-out" variation of the common "Little Sea" isopod. Renowned for its lack of pigment, this hardy, beginner-friendly crustacean stands out for having completely white bodies, legs, antennae, and eyes. Because they completely lack melanin, any slight pink or dark coloration you see on them is usually just food (like carotenoids) passing through their translucent digestive tracts.
