Anthurium forgetii is a highly coveted, rare tropical houseplant famous for its completely closed sinus (the notch at the top of the leaf), which gives its velvety foliage a distinctive, seamless teardrop or oval shape. Native to the rainforests of Colombia, this epiphyte stands out from other velvet-leaf anthuriums because its petioles attach directly to the back of the leaf blade rather than at a cleft. Its deep green leaves feature a luxurious texture accented by shimmering silver-to-green venation.
This batch of Anthurium seedlings comes from a tent with other anthurium. Exact parentage uncertain but most likely a self cross.
