Alocasia azlanii, commonly known as the Red Mambo, is a rare and highly sought-after jewel Alocasia. Native exclusively to the island of Borneo (Brunei), this stunning tropical houseplant is famous for its compact size and iridescent, metallic, color-shifting foliage.
Its leaves feature a deep purple to near-black surface outlined by glowing, contrasting neon-pink or violet veins that shimmer beautifully when they catch the light. Because it typically maxes out between 8 to 16 inches in height, it makes an exceptional choice for tabletops, plant shelves, or large terrariums.
